AUXILIARY MONITOR

  5. RANGE: (increases or decreases size of picture)

PROPULSION TRANSFER - system for switching from rotor engines to turbo thrust.
    FLIGHT COMMAND:
  1. AUTO - AUTOMATIC PILOT
  2. FORWARD - pilot has control (Hawke)
  3. AFT - rear seat has control (Santini)

    ROTORS
  4. DISENGAGE (press this to change from rotors to turbo thrust)

    TURBINES
  5. TURBINES
  6. AUTO - (automatically changes back & forth)
  7. MANUAL (manual control of change)
  8. RE-SET CLOCK (start up time of each system as we change back and forth from rotors to turbos)

    WARNING SYSTEM LIGHTS
  9. ALERT
  10. ROTOR - Port/Starboard (flashing)
  11. MAIN TURBOS - Port/Starboard (flashing)

    REVERSE THRUST BUTTONS
  12. Engage
  13. Disengage
INSTRUMENT PANEL 2A
SEARCH LIGHTS
  1. ACTIVATE (deploys lights out and turns then on/off three joysticks control direction)
  2. PORT (light located on port side)
    NOSE (etc.)
    STARBOARD
  3. UNITED (ties control of all three to the center stick only)
  4. AUTO SWEEP (automatic search pattern)
  5. FORWARD LOCK (locks direction of lights ahead of ship)
  6. 45° DOWN LOCK (locks direction of lights downward)
  7. INFRARED (white lights go out, dull red ones come on for extra night visibility - Airwolf "sees in the dark" without showing much light)
LANDING GEAR
  1. NOSE
  2. PORT
  3. STARBOARD
  4. OPERATING (yellow) gears in motion
  5. LOCKED (red) gear is up-retracted
  6. LOCKED (green) gear is down - deployed
  7. UP/DOWN (red/green) wheel toggle switch
  8. MALFUNCTION (red flashing light)
INSTRUMENT PANEL 3A
DRAG CHUTE RELEASE MECHANISM
  1. Door (to "T-Bar" pull handle and red flashing light - releases chute)

    Chute is located at end of aircraft behind the tail rotor.
    Used only when rotors are disengaged. Emergency use only.
